Food and Drink Festivals in Scotland in 2026

Scotland is renowned for its quality food and drink. We have more than just haggis, seafood, porridge, shortbread and whisky to offer visitors, although there are special events and festivals where you can taste those delicacies! Agricultural shows and Highland Games and are also great opportunities to savour local produce. These are great days out for all the family where you can get a real flavour of the area by sampling its food and drink with plenty of exciting entertainment into the bargain. Farmers' markets are increasingly popular across Scotland too so there's lots of ways you can enjoy Scottish produce from land and sea.

Black Isle Show

This is the largest agricultural show in the North of Scotland. It attracts over 2,000 cattle, horse and sheep entries, more than 300 trade stands and over 25,000 visitors to the show each year. There is plenty to see and do, craft fair, food fair, 'On the Farm' exhibition for the kids, agricultural stands, vintage rally and sheep shearing.
