Scotland's Best B&Bs
Home Farm is a recently constructed property on the Black Isle, a peninsula surround by the sea on three sides....the Cromarty Firth, the Beauly Firth and the Moray Firth. This meeting of different bodies of water makes it particularly popular with dolphins, seals and sea birds. Inverness is just a 20 minute drive away.
The B&B sits in over an acre of landscaped garden with views to the surrounding hills. Your hosts are avid gardeners and the beautiful garden can be enjoyed from several of the rooms in the property. Choose from 3 spacious bedrooms: 1 large kingsize double (ensuite) and a twin room with private bathroom are upstairs, and there's a kingsize double room (ensuite) on the ground floor (no stairs).
Covid update 2021: One household exclusive use policy with each booked room being left for 3 days before the next booking.
Breakfast is prepared by your hostess using eggs from her own hens and produce sourced from local producers. You can also enjoy dinners by arrangement featuring the finest meat and seafood including langoustines and scallops caught locally. Guests are welcome to relax in the garden room, the lounge (featuring a large coral reef aquarium) or the garden itself.
Ideally located for touring the Scottish Highlands including Glen Affric, Loch Ness, Inverness and the Black Isle. You can spot dolphins nearby in the Moray Firth from Chanonry Point or take a boat trip. Convenient for day trips to explore castles and distilleries, as well as the scenic west coast, Applecross and the Isle of Skye. Home Farm is also ideal if you are starting or finishing the popular North Coast 500 route.
