Food and Drink Festivals in Scotland in 2020
Scotland is renowned for its food and drink. We have more than just haggis, porridge and whisky to offer visitors, but there are festivals for all those delicacies. Here's a selection of events in 2020 where you can enjoy Scottish food and drink. With this year being dedicated to Scotland's Coasts & Waters, you can be sure that seafood will be on the menu! Highland Games and agricultural shows are also great opportunities to savour local produce.
Fife Whisky Festival

Edinburgh Whisky Festival

Annual agricultural show with livestock, dog show, trade stands, craft marquee, vintage vehicles and truck show, plus Highland dancing displays, pipe band and lots more. The Ardblair Stones competition is to try and lift nine stones of increasing weight (18kg-152kg) sequentially onto barrels (132 cm in height). Trophies are awarded to the top three men and top three women. This is one of a series of qualifiers for the International Highland Games Federation Stones of Strength Scottish Final which will take place at the Blairgowrie and Rattray Highland Games on Sunday September 6th.
