The Waterside Rooms occupy a dramatic position right on the shoreline of the Solway Firth, which is both wild and spectacular, whatever the weather, with fabulous views across the Solway to the mountains of the Lake District. Dornock is at the most southerly border of Scotland and England and is surrounded by historic sites and castles.
One self-contained suite of rooms is available for guests' exclusive use, with a king size bedroom plus a double sofa bed for up to two children in the separate sitting room. The rooms have a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and enjoy spectacular sea and mountain views. The suite has private access through a side door to the garden. All rooms are on one level. There are a few steps down to your entrance.
Breakfast is served in your sitting room with views out over the Solway Firth, and includes home made bread, yoghurt and preserves as well as locally sourced produce. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free breakfast options available.

Visitor attractions in the area include Annandale Distillery, The Devil's Porridge Museum, Caerlaverock Castle, Sweetheart Abbey and Moat Brae (the inspiration for J.M. Barrie's Neverland). There are numerous golf courses in the vicinity. The house is just off national cycle route 7 and can offer secure storage for bikes.
