Bydand B&B is located on the rural outskirts of Grantown on Spey, on the edge of woodland, looking directly on to the Cairngorms National Park. The area is famed for its mountains and wildlife, as well as the world-famous Speyside Whisky Trail. Inverness and Loch Ness are just over half an hour away
The house is an individually designed property which has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment. Guests can choose from two guest bedrooms, both of which enjoy far reaching views of the Cairngorms. The rooms are decorated in a contemporary style and include modern conveniences such as Nespresso machines and Bluetooth Bose speakers. The bathrooms are both spacious and luxurious, also with great views. The guest lounge opens out on to an area of decking where you can enjoy the Cairngorm views, or in the winter you can snuggle up with the wood burning stove. Breakfast choices include traditional Scottish, Continental or healthy avocado and poached Bydand eggs. In the evening, guests can pre-order a sumptuous charcuterie platter for two people featuring cold meats, cheeses, olives, bread, crackers, etc.
Bydand would suit those wishing to explore the Highlands, visit the Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore and whisky distilleries. RSPB Loch Garten (famous for ospreys) and the Highland Wildlife Park are nearby, as is the Strathspey Steam Railway.
