This region of Scotland covers a hugely diverse area which includes one of the country's busiest cities to the North and beautiful countryside to the South. Following the ancient route of the River Clyde from its source in South Lanarkshire to its end in Glasgow, this region offers a choice of peaceful rural retreats or well placed city bases. Excellent transport links by road, rail, air and bus mean that you will be able to easily visit the main attractions of the Central Belt as well as quickly reaching sites further afield.

Currently we are looking for new members in this area. You can stay with Douglas Park Guest House in Dunoon with outstanding views over the Clyde. It's easy to reach by ferry from Gourock and is an ideal base for exploring the Cowal peninsula as well as Argyll and Loch Lomond.
